Friends, if the police say Craigslist.com is not a safe place to conduct business, why would you try to sell your car (or buy one) worth several thousand dollars and transact on that site? This law enforcement agency is telling the residents of their community “we don’t trust Craigslist, neither should you”! Seriously, if you have to meet some character in the police station parking lot to sell your car, it’s not worth your time, trouble or risking your personal safety. Don’t take it from us, take it from the Police! Craigslist is not a safe place to sell your car.
